Landscape Drawings: Love Letters to California
This series expresses the sense of connection I feel to California’s natural world. My practice as an artist is to sit outside, breathe deeply, and remember that every breath I take has been circulated through plants and animals, forests, and oceans. I know the leaves are inhaling and exhaling all around me, and so are the organisms in the soil under my feet.
